AXIS MUSIC STUDIO BURSARY 2024

Opportunity for musicians from, or based in Ballymun or the North-West Area of Dublin

We're delighted to announce a bursary opportunity to support the practice of a musician with a connection to Ballymun/the North West area.

Axis is looking for submissions from artists aged 18+ for this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will get free rehearsal time, music studio recording time, core team support and a bursary worth €500 towards materials or production.

The awardee of this bursary will receive a support package that includes a €500 bursary

plus additional in-kind supports to the value of €1500.

€500 bursary

Up to 20 hours of rehearsal time in Axis music rehearsal rooms.

 Up to 8 hours of recording studio time, to record one song to a professional standard.

The completed song will be sent to a professional mixing and mastering engineer to bring the track to a broadcast quality.

If needed, a consultation with our technical manager on how to release and distribute the song to streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music etc.

Promotion on Axis social media accounts of the finished released song.

In addition to some personal info, the form asks for

·        a little info outlining what the bursary would mean to you (250 words approx)

·        photographs of your work, these can be of ideas, sketches etc.

If you find you express yourself better in audio or video, feel free to send us an audio or a video file no longer than 3 minutes via wetransfer in which you cover the items above.
